Since his childhood in Albion, Nebraska, Dr. Bob was always interested in the field of Medicine and was drawn to dentistry because of its combination of medical science and artistry. After graduating from the University of Nebraska, he attended Creighton School of Pharmacy before obtaining his Doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He is also a certified Hospital Dentist on the Medical Staff at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital.
Believing a dentist’s education shouldn’t stop after he’s finished school, he continues to devote many hours to learning about the latest dental advances. Dr. Bob has been a pioneer in introducing the newest technology for his patients in the State of Nebraska. He was the first doctor in the state to use intra-oral cameras and videos, cosmetic imaging, surgical lasers, laser cavity detection, digital radiography, and the interactive Casey Patient Education System.
His leadership in professional groups is yet another way he stays up-to-date on the latest dental care. His is past president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer of the Adams County Dental Society. He is past president (two terms) for the Nebraska Southwest Dental District. He has served as a trustee and delegate to the Nebraska Dental Association and as an alternate Delegate to the American Dental association. He has also been involved with his alma mater as a faculty and volunteer faculty member and Dean’s Advisory Committee member. Currently he is a Preceptor for the UNMC College of Dentistry.
Dr. Bob’s experience is second to none. In addition to his Omaha practice, he maintains the Nelson Dental Clinic in Nelson, Nebraska. He has lectured and trained people in laser technology and surgery techniques nationally and internationally. He has recently attended the Prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and over the years has trained with some of the top Cosmetic Dentists in the world. It is his honor to pass this knowledge and skill on to you when he sees you as a patient.

Born in Hastings, Nebraska to immigrant parents from Germany, Dr. Shar grew up on a farm in Kenesaw, Nebraska. She received her Bachelors Degree from Hastings College and her Doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry.
Though she has been practicing for over 20 years, dentistry is still a passion more than a business. Besides making sure her patients enjoy the finest dentistry, she shares her expertise with dental students, the school systems, and a variety of community organizations. She is a former board member for the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry Dean’s Advisory Board. Currently, she is a Preceptor for UNMC College of Dentistry Senior General Practice Program and a volunteer lecturer on dental education for area schools and preschools. It is her goal to keep your smile as beautiful as it is healthy.
In addition to caring for her patients in Omaha, Dr. Shar also maintains the Clay Center Dental Clinic in Clay Center, Nebraska. This practice allows her to give back to the community she grew up in by providing cutting edge dentistry for patients in rural towns. She continues her dental education program at local schools in these areas and has been Vice-President of the Adams County Dental Society.
Combining her years of training and experience with breakthroughs like the intra-oral camera, digital x-rays, and laser whitening she can give you a healthy, brighter, and more radiant smile. Hers was the first certified Britesmile® office in Nebraska. Always concerned with the comfort of her patients, she was the first doctor in Nebraska to offer virtual vision movie goggles for patients to use during treatment. In June 2006, she was certified as provider of Invisalign®, a revolutionary new orthodontic technique that is an “invisible” alternative to traditional braces.
She is dedicated to learning, and using, the most advanced and current dental techniques. This dedication has earned her the title of “Fellow” from noted colleagues. But most importantly, it has earned her the title of “Dr. Shar” by the thousands of patients who wouldn’t trust their smiles to anyone else.

What do you like about your job? I like seeing all of the friendly faces and catching up with patients; it really brightens up my day!
What is special about this office? I've never been to a dental office where the dentists are so involved with the patient care. I love it and so do our patients.
What do you do to help the patients feel relaxed and comfortable? I always have a smile on my face and my listening ear on. If there are any questions I don't know the answers to, I will ask someone who knows and get back to them promptly.
Family info: I graduated from Blair High School then moved to Wichita, Kansas for two years. Shortly after moving back to Nebraska in 2015, I got engaged to my high school sweetheart. We got married July of 2016 and then bought our first home. We have two fur-babies that fill our new home with hair and happiness: Opie, a two year old Australian Shepherd and Maverick, a 9 year old Shar-pei rescue. In my free time I enjoy doing anything creative and in the summer spending my weekends at the lake.
Education/background: I graduated from Blair High School, then went to Eric Fisher Academy in Wichita KS to pursue a cosmetology license and worked as a stylist for a year. After moving back to Nebraska, I wanted to get more into the corporate world, so I worked in mortgage for a of couple years. I am currently taking classes in web design and marketing and love getting to use the new things I’m learning to help advance Eagle Run Dental and Heartland Dental Assisting.
What do you like about your job? I like my job because each day is something new and different, whether it is meeting a new patient or placing a filling, each procedure keeps me on my toes. I like to stay busy; it keeps me focused.
What is special about this office? I believe this is the best office in Omaha! I started working with the Wilson’s in 2004. I gained knowledge & experience in the dental field. In 2009 I decided to leave because I wanted to learn more in specialty offices (oral surgery, implants & dentures). I ventured out and explored other areas of dentistry. I found out that ethics, morals and quality of care are very different at other offices & I was able to return to Eagle Run Dental in 2015. This office is by far the #1 place for all dental needs.
What do you do to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable? I explain the whole procedure in full detail from beginning to end. I answer any questions the patient may have. I try and offer anything to make things easier for the patient whether it is movie goggles or headphones for music, anything to help ease any anxiety.
Family Info: Born and raised in Omaha, I have lived here my whole life. I grew up in the Millard area with my father. I have a little Chihuahua mix dog named Marquis.

What do you like about your job? I’d say love over like when asked what I like about my job. I really enjoy talking to my patients and getting to know them personly. I also enjoy the doctors and coworkers, I couldn’t ask for better. Everyone here works together to make sure everything gets done and no one feels stressed or overwhelmed.
What is special about this office? The doctors and staff are what makes our office so special. Everyone takes pride in making sure our patients get the best treatment and experience in our dental office.
